Who am I?
The once university student turned low paid retail worker ghost now turned into a Pin designing Confetti Witch. Whose head is always running an eternal never ending monologue of ideas and never enough time to execute them. A human whose head is half in the sand and half in clouds. A human, you get the idea.
Cue the Lemons.
During the summer of 2019, I spent the entire summer with family and riding some of the best roller coasters in the world in Orlando, Florida. This not so little trip into the Theme Park Capital of the US embarked the journey that was Pin Collecting. A upon returning to the UK the following September in 2019, a small handful of enamel pins graced my blank corkboard wall dorm room. Fast Forward a few years and speed run through a plague, that collection more quadrupled to over +100 enamel pins.
Fast forward another few years and life hits like a truck. Cue October of 2025, I got fired from my exhausting, retail day job. Now, most people would just jump straight back into the rat race that is a 9 to 5 job. After being reject left and right by low paid, minimum wage, long hours work, I decided that this was the perfect opportunity to turn this obsession of pins into a potential income and long term career.

Why Confetti?
Simply, the inspiration came from a feeling and a mug. Yes..... a £3 mug from the now extinct store Wilko (think a hybrid of Walmart and like a dollar Store).
The feeling came from watching British High Streets suffer during the Pandemic. Busy shopping streets reduced to a handful of hurried shoppers. Alleyways that contained the bustling nightlife of pub crawlers and clubs stood silent on a Saturday evening. Now in my head, that meant no exchange of money. Nobody spent any money during this time, workers were ether furlough or didn't get paid. Just the feeling of melancholy......
I wanted to give people that tiny piece of happiness. Like you would receive at a child's birthday.
The Cheap Mug that inspired it all.
Now, Cue the Mug........ and the tequila.
This simple, cheap and cheerful Wilko mug was the spark that I needed to get my determination to start the business. We all need a little bit of happiness? Why not a little more kindness? Two very simple questions, yet no direct answers in sight. Cue the hurricane of ideas that followed. I simply want to create cute pins that anyone could wear with pride.
So what inspires the designs?
Legit anything. Current events to the night sky above. Myths and Legends to the natural world around us. Anything and everything inspires me, and usually followed by a very heavy backlog of designs.
And.......what about Ai usage?
*Lots of curse words later.*
I try and be very open and upfront with the use of Ai. BUT......Ai stops at the book keeping door. I DO NOT use Ai in the designing process. All designs are designed from start to finish by human hand (AKA me, Confetti). As of June 2026 and beyond I plan on showcasing the design process from start to finish across various social media platforms. Stay tuned!!!
